provide information based on the purpose and intent of the text.

· Materials:

List the ingredients needed to achieve the goal.

 Steps:

A sequence of instructions or activities to achieve a goal through the correct sequence of steps.

c. linguistic elements

The procedure text uses:

·      Simple present tense

imperatives 

· action verbs (e.g.: turn, put, mix

connectives (e.g.: first, then, finally,…)

· adverbial phrases (e.g. : for five minutes, 2 centimeters from the top)
